We had a wind chill of zero today. It actually felt warm. It has been about five degrees with a wind chill of negative twenty to forty all week. The schools were closed. It was the kind of weather where you would get out your winter gloves and hope that the radio station plays all of your favorite songs. It was too cold to take the gloves off to change the station and the gloves are too large to leave on and change the station. Beth was upset that school was closed, she loves school…really she loves seeing all of her friends. She spent a lot of time on Facebook with her friends and on U-tube listening to her music.
We have a parent student teacher meeting tonight at Maggie’s school to look at the kids progress. We get our kids transcripts and see if they are on schedule. It is good to get together once a year with the counselor and Maggie to see if she is on track. Maggie is starting to look a lot at applying for scholarships.
